  Nice venue, friendly staff, reasonable range of drinks.
  
  But disappointed with our meals.
  Porterhouse steak was tough. Scallop and prawn garlic sauce was nothing special. Chips were nice though.
  BBQ bourbon ribs were dry, BBQ sauce was a bit lacking, and flavour not as full and rich and sweet as it could have been.

  We have moved into the area and this place has become our defacto local. Straight up I love the place. But to make something awesome even better, here’s a couple of suggestions. Beer. There are 3 boags on tap that are almost identical. Maybe some variety like a Kilkenny or an IPA would be nice. Food quality on a Tuesday. Look it’s still really good, but other nights are noticeably better. Just little things like the sauce on the ribs is a bit lacking, the fillet steak is a bit average. I never whinge to the staff, they have enough to worry about. Overall, and we go here a lot, a brilliant pub with meals, staff are very attentive and excellent ambience

  Food was OK, a little dissapointing about the oysters we ordered that weren't ordered. Mistakes happen and the front of house staff couldn't have been more apologetic. Credit to you all. But when reordered we had already finished our mains and decided to leave as they didnt arrive. Steak could have been seasoned as well as the special Prawn linguine. I only say this as I have been in the industry for 25yrs plus and I have always found that with food it's the simple little things that count and matter. Front of house were given and issue and they fixed it, well sort of. It seems that the kitchen is letting the whole team down a wee bit. Besides all of this, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

  Dined there Saturday night. We were a large booking of 22 and booked well in advance. Upon arriving for our 7pm booking at 703 we were told very rudely that we were late. Upon sitting down the menu on the table was nothing to what was on the website. There was 5 options and 1 entree to choose from. A member from our table found the dine-in menu and passed around. When waitress Annie approached the table to ask if we were ready to order she very nastily asked why we had that menu as we had to order from the set menu that was on the table. We asked why. She said as a large booking (even though their website says over 25 people) we had to order from the set menu and we would have been told at the time of booking which we wasn't and started snatching the menus off us. And rudely walked away from the table. Once she returned to take our order others asked about the other menu again. In the end she let us change/modify the menu. Could not fault the meals or the atmosphere. There was a lovely girl singing and once she finished and we put in a request asked if she could do another set but was told she could only sing our requested song and that was all. Greatful for them letting her but if she was able to do another set we would have stayed longer and drunk more. Giving 3 stars as food and atmosphere was great however they could work a little more on their customer service.

  From out of town and was looking for a pub meal with my adult kids. We had the porterhouse and ribs, and chicken Parma. Steaks were perfectly cooked, one rare med and the other med. Very tender and enjoyable. Schnitzel was huge and very nice. Also had a cocktail which the staff member Aquis made perfectly. Looking to return tomorrow night for the same meals and some live music!! One suggestion would be to close the door to the second large eating area if no one is in there eating. It’s cold coming through there!! Thanks
